Electronic overspeed switch, hollow shaft version

The EGSH 40 is an electronic overspeed switch with a hollow shaft design and functions independent of an encoder. It fulfills the highest work safety and accident prevention requirements for operating statuses such as "safe standstill", "safe limited speed" as well as those applicable when carrying out maintenance procedures on live components and devices. The EGSH 40 replaces its predecessor model EGSH 4; it is available for switching speeds from 0.63 rpm. The actual speed is continuously compared with the programmed limit speeds stored in the non-volatile memory. The evaluation unit triggers the corresponding switch if the limit speed is reached.
