Multiturn absolute encoder with hollow shaft

The multiturn version of the absolute encoder AM...H 40 from Johannes Huebner Giessen is optionally available with a hollow shaft. It is possible to configure the AM...H 40 via all customary interfaces such as PROFIBUS DP, PROFINET IO, DeviceNet, EtherCAT, SSI or a parallel interface. An incremental output is available on request. The multiturn version offers a maximum resolution up to 12 bit (number of revolutions: 4096). The standard version of the absolute encoder designed for use in heavy duty applications has a rugged aluminium casing and large ball bearings with a high dynamic load rating. The interior space that remains sealed even when the terminal box is open and vibration-resistant screwed connections guarantee reliable performance under extreme conditions. A long torque bracket arm facilitates a higher signal quality in hollow shaft installations.
