Singleturn absolute encoders for rough conditions

The singleturn absolute encoders AL...40 for loopers are especially designed for the most extreme conditions with shock loads up to 450 g. The encoders are mostly deployed in roll stands in hot rolling mills between the roll housings where they are subject to high levels of energy. The singleturn absolute encoders supply precise information about the angle position of the looper, which is used for the highly dynamic feedback speed control of the rollers. At the same time singleturn absolute encoders AL...40 achieve a service life that is many times longer than that of other models. Lubricated with special grease their ball bearings offer an approximately 40 per cent higher load rating.
