“Run ‘n’ Roll for help” – running for a good cause – takes place every year as part of the Gießen town festival.
Despite the unsettled weather with wind and encroaching thunder, nothing was going to stop our employees daring to take on the 5 km distance. After all, we are experts when it comes to extreme environmental conditions. And they all managed to cross the finishing line in very good times. Happily, friendlier weather arrived bang on time for the start, so the runners were able to start in the sunshine.
More than 1400 runners lined up once again this year to take on the distance and run on behalf of the Aids and ‘Lebenshilfe support for the disabled’ charities. They raised a record amount made up from entrants starting money and donations. The large number of visitors who cheered on their colleagues and friends ensured there was a lively atmosphere.
