Technical data

PV system: 21 monochrystalline modules, each 185 Wp (3 885 kWp)
Wind turbine: Four-blade downwind turbine; 5 m diameter; 5 kW at 11 m/s wind speed.
Diesel generator: Optimised 14 hp diesel engine with 10.4 kW induction generator for backup power
Fuel: Tank capacity 7 x 500 litres to provide basic cover for up to 12 months
Battery system: 48 V, 1200 Ah battery as temporary storage with 52 kWh energy storage capacity
Inverter: 24 kVA multichannel inverter
Controller: Energy management system organises consumers according to three levels of priority; reduces fuel consumption to a minimum.
Design: Robust mechanical construction for extreme conditions such as snow, desert, earthquake zones
Optional: Water treatment, refrigeration
