Johannes Huebner Giessen receives major encoder order for traction technology

Johannes Huebner Giessen has received a major order for high resolution encoders used for speed and slip control of electrical traction drives.

The series FLH 4 encoder with separate electronics connected by fiber optic cables has years of proven performance. The high resolution of 1200 ppr enables the traction technology, a direct high-precision speed control and thus slip control of traction drives in high-speed locomotives. More than 1200 encoders of this type have been supplied.
