Due to the size and growth prospects of the Indian market Johannes Hübner Giessen is strengthening its presence in India.

Our local distributor VITH (Vaibhavi International Trading House) has been operating successfully in this market  for many years, and will in furture concentrate its activities on our behalf to serving customers in the iron and steel industries. The capacity of this industry sector alone is forecast to increase threefold, a development that will see India become the second largest steel manufacturer in the world behind China.

We have been able to gain services of a further sales partner in the form of the EMCO Group Company. EMCO will in future serve all of our customers in the crane and mining sectors as well as all other branches of industry. An owner-managed company EMCO employs approximately 50 members of staff in several branch offices in Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore and Bilai.
